The consultation has now closed and the NCC has agreed to defer the opening of an Academy until 2010

“The sponsors remain committed to the proposal of a Church Academy and welcome the Local Authority’s recommendation for the establishment of an Academy to secure the improvement in the performance of the school and the attainment of its students.”
